Myanmar meets Europe

Das Projekt begann bereits 2010 und ist augenscheinlich die erste Synthese westlicher und burmesischer Musik seit Duke Ellington in den fünfziger Jahren 3 kurze Songs mit burmesischen Sängern aufnahm.
Über Jahre organisierten Tim Isfort und Jan Klare Begegnungen auf beiden Kontinenten, transkribierten diese Musik und feiern die, 2015 in der Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn, aufgenomenne Platte.

The project started in 2010 already and  apparently is the first synthesis of western and burmese music since Duke Ellington recorded 3 short songs with burmese singers in the 1950-ies. Tim Isfort and Jan Klare organized many encounters on both continents, transribed the music over many years and celebrate their record, that was recorde the Bundeskunsthalle Bonn in 2015.
